Shimmer is a wall sculpture / radiator that brings you a visual experience to recall memories of hot summer days and the way the air sometimes tend to shimmer of heat.

The sculptural surface at the front of the radiator is made as an optical wave pattern. After watching a while, the pattern starts to float and an optical shimmering effect will appear.

It is designed with an aim to magnify the experience of heat by operating on multiple layers involving both functional and associative/reflective dimensions, while still using the same amount of energy.

Shimmer was one of the shortlisted designs in the Bisque Radiators international design award called "The radical radiators for the future" with 3241 participants from 88 different countries.
