Whisper

- How can we design narratives to actively involve people in reducing their energy consumption?

“When a sudden threat appears in nature, it is usually the animals that by instinct react prior to humans. The birds are often said to be the first ones to react.”

Can we help energy companies to actively co-create a more sustainable future together with their participants?

Whisper is a narrative-led, interactive campaign concept designed to actively engage people in creating a more sustainable future while reducing their own electricity bill. It includes a small subtle physical device that easily can be mounted around the power cord to any electrical appliance in your home that you often forget to turn off. (One example could be a pendant lamp in your hallway.) As this device gets activated by the inductive energy that appears around the power cord, it silently starts singing when your electrical appliance has been running over a set time.

By a gentle reminder, like a little bird that whispers in your ear, it helps you to become aware of your energy consumption.
