- How can we stage drinking experiences to celebrate one of our greatest gifts?

“Imagine the feeling of pure water that arrives as a gift to the dining table, getting collected by the table top, like a leaf collects the fresh humid morning air into dew-drops”

To celebrate one of our greatest gifts, the essential condition to life on earth, I studied the surface tension and the natural beauty that exist in the forms of water and created drinking glasses for water purpose with reference to the shape of fluid water it self.

Due to the drop shape these drinking glasses have no flat surface. Although an almost flat bottom surface makes them stable enough for dining use, they will never appear as static as regular drinking glasses do. They shutter by touch… Just like dew-drops on a leaf.

Through a surreal play with size this design invites us to start questioning the power relation between man and nature…
